If I wanted to join a cult and create one of my own would that be possible? Can other users only join one cult?

confusion!

This may sound a little confusing, so bear with me!

You can only actually join one cult (meaning you are listed as a member of the cult on the cult's page here on subeta, can donate items, etc.). That said, some cults allow users to be members of multiple cults (most cults have external forums, so you'd be allowed onto their forums and into their ping groups here on subeta if you join a second cult). However, if you choose to join a second cult, you won't be listed as a member on the Subeta cult page, you can't donate to the cult or anything like that, since you'd already be listed as a member of another cult. From my understanding, staff plans to change this in the future to where you can end up joining two or more cults (and be listed as a member in both).

Basically, you can join two cults; however, you'll only be listed as being in one of those cults on Subeta for the time being.

I had been wondering about that as well, so thank you very much for explaining this in such great detail :)

Just an additional note. Do check the rules of the cult you're in (or want to join) some cults don't allow you to be a member of other cults. There can be several reasons for this, but mostly its because they don't feel members can be active in more than one cult at a time.

ah, that's a good point, and I can see why people wouldn't want their members in more then one cult.
