I'm trying to price the items in my shop but everytime I hit the process prices button at the bottom I get this message "You have been directed here from the wrong place!"
It's the same if I want to remove an item or items from the shop. This started yesterday. It's very frustrating to hand price a page of items only to find they don't update when I click the button.
I'm using Opera Version 12.14, Build 1738, Windows Vista
If I use Firefox or Chrome, then I don't have a problem.
Try clearing your browsers cache and browsing cookies to see if that will clear it up on Opera.
Just deleted all private data and priced a couple of items but it gave the same error and the prices didn't change.
You cleared the cache too, right? I don't think private data is going to have any effect.
Reya Yep. Delete entire cache was selected. The only thing I didn't clear were my password settings.
I've been having odd issues with Opera and Subeta for a while. Sometimes I'll click to buy something from a user shop and it tells me the item doesn't exist or the price has changed. A quick browser change and I'm able to buy the item.
I prefer Opera for browsing Subeta as it's a lot quicker than Firefox. I haven't seen anyone else mention this problem so it might be something I can fix myself. I'll keep looking and let you know if I find out anything.
Edit to add: I just found out there is a newer version of Opera. I'm going to try that. Further edit: Nope. New version didn't work.
Have you been able to test it on FF to see if you get the same results (this will help pinpoint the root cause)?
I can't replicate it in Firefox or Chrome.
Whilst noodling around, though, I noticed that Opera has 2 different versions for download. One for the 32-bit system and one for 64-bit. I never knew the second one existed. So I downloaded that and it seems to have fixed the issue for now.
I've only ever used the 32-bit version before and this problem only started a couple of days ago. If Keith is tweaking things 'under the hood', as he says, then it might have something to do with it. For now, I'll keep an eye on it and if it starts again, I'll let you know.
