Okay so there's a certain Norse name I want but it has a special character in it. Specifically, þ. I was wondering if that would stay that way or would it be changed into a stream of nonsense?

Most likely it'd be that 3#47t454 style nonsense we see in the pound pets because their names have characters likethe one you want to use.

This is intensely upsetting augh. The name when spelled without the special character is taken. But it's on an inactive account, though the account hasn't been inactive long enough to be clearable. ;~;

IIRC special characters aren't allowed anymore so yeah it wouldn't work :x You could always wait on the name to clear, or watch it until the owner comes back while you try to come up with some kind of backup?
