My reply has a lot of details, explanation and citations, so I don't know what to cut out in order to make the reply submittable. Preferably, I'd like to keep all of what I originally typed, since it's all valuable information in my eyes, but you know, I tried submitting it twice and it wouldn't lol. So can anyone help me out: what is the character cap when making a reply to a post?

there's an omnibus thread on Forum problems in Problems & Bugs, and this is one of the subtopics there. AFAIK, they haven't told us what the maximum is it certainly isn't in the spoiler there. Maybe you can find it better than I could among all the other posts?

BTW: My post has 9301 characters, bbcode is being counted as well.
