So... I adopted Vidar back in February 2012 and quickly pulled his profile and TC together. I've barely touched his page since... Over the past few weeks I've been re-evaluating my pets and characters (ever since Classified came into the family basically)...

I've decided to recreate him as my favorite kind of character: a horribly cantankerous anti-hero... I'll be taking inspiration from traditional Norse mythology, the show Vikings on History channel, Marvel's Thor (movies and comics), and the 2007 version of Pathfinder... Probably a bit of LOTR thrown in for good measure along with other stuff... Just generally a little everything I love. LOL

About the character: For hundreds of years, he has resided on my version of Earth, mostly in the cold north and he's got an affinity for mountains. (Seldom leaves, even when summoned by Odin... Odin usually has to get Heimdall involved to get him to Valhalla.) He's basically a lone mountain man (God of Silence, yes?) now, but he loves a good battle or war (God of Revenge, activate!) and he was a plunderer in Viking times, as well as a dragon slayer. His lover is Rigr, who is Heimdall in his earthly form, and he spends a lot of time staring up into the skies at night if Rigr's not around. (Star so bright, won't you be my star tonight?) The Aurora Borealis may or may not be incorporated into my story.

To summarize: I want suggestions of things a modern Viking might have, pirate/plunderer booty and loot, general Alaskan/Canadian/Scandinavian-type stuff that might be applicable, and just anything you think might work for such a character. Despite mostly living "off the land" he is incredibly tech-savvy, so that sort of thing is not off-limits...

[edit] I've got a 50 item TC figured out for him now! Five lines, ten items across, with each line representing a different aspect of my story... Sorta. The first line is a bit "meh" though... It's supposed to represent him as a plunderer/slayer/etc. but something's off about it... Anyway, that just basically means plunderer/slayer items are what I need the most help with now...

I think several of the items will be helpful, and you've inspired me to go looking for other fanpets from games that have something of the feel I am going for... Thank you! (Now just to come up with some names of those games... Skyrim, Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed... -starts drawing blanks- Hmm... Probably need to do some research or something. LOL I'm not a player of RPGs.)

Weapons, bones, broken objects, wooden objects, boats, houses, treasure chests.

My battle pet Valtam has a few Viking-themed items in his TC, as well as "trophies" (loot drops from opponents he's defeated) that include weapons. Dunno how much help it'll be but you're welcome to look. =)

LOL I actually found your pet the first day I started re-working Vidar. I've been looking at her TC for inspiration. Thank you for the help!
