Searching for 1x1 partners for summer (MxM, pref)

Hey everyone! I just finished finals and am home for the summer. I'd love to get back into roleplaying, and am looking for anyone interested.
Rules/Preferences
Media: I prefer email, because my phone gets notifications from my email, enabling me to get back to you quicker.
Length: I prefer one or two paragraphs per response on average
Frequency: I would prefer we try to manage at least one response per day, though I fully respect that more important things can come up.
Literacy: No chat speak, and no "chat room roleplay" (e.g., sits down "Hello"). I tend to think of my style of roleplay as "collaborative novel writing"; though I don't expect perfection, I want a decent respect for capitalization, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Other:
I'm looking for one-on-one with the main characters being male.
I only roleplay OCs, and I'm not a huge fan of setting roleplays within fandoms.
I prefer roleplays that are a decent mix of story and romance, though I'm fine with no romance.
I like slow, realistic builds. Instant attraction has its place, but I prefer letting things build between the characters over time.
I'm open to quite a few ideas, so feel free to comment or sMail me with any you have, but below are a few I'm interested in (with asterisks rating my interest: 1 = interested, 5 = very interested; if I'm currently doing the plot, it has an X in front of it), as well as the types of characters I'm open to using in the roleplay.
Plot/Opening scenario Ideas
***** The chief of police's son has a habit of finding trouble, and the chief asks an officer who's only a couple years older than his son to start spending time with him and trying to serve as a good influence.
X***** When a werewolf hunter finally tracks down his latest target, he finds him severely injured and begging for help (and of course, to keep the story going, undergoes the inevitable moral dilemma of whether or not to spare the werewolf's life, let alone help him).
**** There has always been a dome around the city, and no one has ever been beyond it. But there are rumors going around that a traveler showed up.
*** A high-profile bachelor just announced an arranged marriage. But when the reporter shows up to interview him for an article, he questions whether the political marriage is really right for him.
*** The prince/alpha/leader/otherwise important figure has been assigned a new body guard.
** A small-town bartender notices a new face walk into his bar.
** The Government groups citizens and assigns them to a Guardian, who ensures the citizens follow the Government's laws.
** Two groups need to work together, but most of the members of either group don't want to trust the other group. One person from each group steps forward to lead the teams to unity to achieve their common goal.
- An assassin is hired to kill, but he has reason to believe the target is worthy of saving, and becomes the target's protector.
- A ship crashes and the captain must find someone who can repair it (could be a space ship or a sailing ship)
