This monday my 4 year old beagle yorkie mix got hit by a car right in front of my face. I picked her up and I screamed and ran and knew she wasn't with me anymore. Her blood poured stained my allover arms and downs my legs and feet. She was only 12 pounds I had no idea she could have so much blood in that little body. Her eye was also out of her skull.

I suffer from chronic illness and pain and have for 10 years now (I'm only 19) and she has been with me for 4 years ever second of every day. I known her since she was born. Since her mother was a friends dog. My Miette was my everything. She gave meaning to my other wise painful life. She gave me endless joy and hope. I have never had such a bond with another being before. I can't even begin to explain how much she meant and still means to me.

I'm sorry this is all over the place. I'm all over the place. I am mortified and don't know what to do anymore. I don't even know who I am anymore.

oh no, i'm so sorry! That sounds absolutely horrible and I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. Do you have some close family / friends you can be with and talk to during this time? That always helps.

Thank you. Yes I do but it's not enough. I'm going to have to go inpatient soon. The loss of her is too great for me to bear.

I'm very very sorry to hear your sad story. I feel for you. My dog broke his leg as I threw him a stick and now I can't take a dog yowl around me without fighting with tears (how horrible to witness your pet being hit by a car!). I feared that he had to be put down because the fracture was so complicated. We were lucky but I know how important such a loyal being can be. It's always very hard to loose such an important being and I see that it's especially hard for someone not in best of health. It's fine to be so very sad. I personal think that every pet deserves to be mourned. It is and was a very important part of one's life. But never forget the good, the joy and love you shared.

Oh my goodness, I'm so, so sorry... I had no idea. ;; I can't imagine what that must be like. I'm sorry to hear about your health, also. I know that only makes things like this much harder than they already are. Though there isn't much I can do, if you want to talk or anything, I'd gladly listen ;~; And though it will definitely take a lot of time, I hope you can find comfort/joy in something soon that will ease the pain!
