Who's seen the first five minutes clip? I'm excited, are you excited? bounces around the walls like a caged dragon

I've seen the trailer and I am already in love with this second movie. :D Hiccup looks incredible. I love this newer, more mature version of him. <3 The only thing that's bothering me is the fact Toothless is seeming to be more black than the deep navy blue he originally was. I preferred him when he wasn't the stereotypically dark character he is now. He' still loveable and all, but I think he looked better when he wasn't so black-ish.

Really? I hadn't noticed the color change...maybe something to do with the surroundings? Much of the first movie had darker scenes so maybe they made him more blue to blend with the night sky when in fact he was black...I dunno. I actually don't think they should've made Hiccup look particularly handsome. He started out as a misfit and a bit of a geek, and it made him inventive and led to being the first to befriend dragons. Just because what he did is accepted now doesn't mean he has to look charismatic all of a sudden. But that's just details, the whole world they're building looks beautiful as ever and I'm really looking forward to it :)

I'm looking forward to this movie, too. :) And I completely agree with you when you say they should have kept Hiccup looking more geeky. He was way cuter that way. But this version has bonuses as well. :) As far as Toothless' new color scheme goes, I've noticed the blacker tint to it from the scenes I have seen from the trailers. I'm not actually sure if the entire movie has him that exact shade. But the scenes he was in had lighter backgrounds so I think he may be that blacker hue now. :)

I have the Toothless plush from Build-A-Bear, and I just stitched together a little saddle for him out of felt c: I plan on bringing him to the movie with me on Friday, haha!

I was going to see it tomorrow, as soon as it comes out here, then I saw the theater in my city was only going to show it Hebrew dubbed, which never sounds even remotely right :S Fortunately they've added regular screenings since. Can't wait ^^

I SAW THE MOVIE AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE. [I]How To Train Your Dragon 2[/I] is simple amazing. It FAR surpassed the first movie in almost every way. It easily broke into my top five favorite movies of all times. :O I totally recommend that everyone storm the nearest theatre and watch it.

I saw it too, it was great! My favorite of the year so far. I won't say better than the first because it's somewhat different in style (although the animation is definitely better, but this is 5 years later), but it's not at all disappointing the way sequels can be. Oh, and Cloudjumper is beautiful!

HTTYD2 was so great, I saw it a few days ago. As soon as the dragons started racing, I got goosebumps and was so excited. I cried so many times in the theater, I probably have never cried that much to a movie. The friend I went to see it with has been obsessing over it, which I can see why.

The alphas were amazing, the tusks in the front made them look so cool. They were probably my favorite dragon design of the film, though Cloudjumper was pretty great too

The only flaw I really saw was the constant jumping around with emotion, it seemed somewhat choppy. But they portrayed each scene very
