I don't seem to be getting that, but my pings are still always leading to the wrong posts. They usually link me a few pages later in the thread (e.g. if someone edits their OP in a CW selling thread, the buysellcw ping leads to page 2 or 3 usually). I've had a few regular CW slotting pings that I got and I just can't find the item being slotted because the OP doesn't always get updated along with a new item being posted in the thread.

Have you ever changed your user name? Which user is being pinged instead?

It sounds like they are using the new "Ping Friends" option when posting.

Are you able to ask them if this is the case to confirm or not?

That happened to some of my friends when I mistakenly used the ping friends (above the create post) last week, the problem with that being the names do not appear on the post, so it seems like an invisible ping, and the person who posts does not even know they pinged anyone!

Does not it usually take you to the post just under your ping? That is what it does for me, if it was JUST to me.

-km No it was definitely taking you to a completely different page. Bringing you to the post under your ping is probably more to do with loading issues, but they seem to have fixed the whole "pinging people to page 3" thing now.
