You can subscribe to get a montly GA and/or CSC, it just automatically comes out of your credit/debit card every month.

CWs are wearables created by other users. They cost 5000 CSC to submit (at their most expensive. There was a recent change so now they cost 2-5000 CSC depending on what kind of item it is), and for that you get 10 copies that you can sell or keep for yourself, gift away, whatever you want. You can choose to put them in the cash shop or not, all ones in there before the chance cost 600 CSC per copy, they might be priced differently based on type now, I honestly have no idea. It's been suggested, though.

I don't know what you're asking about the books though? Most are just books. The Vanity ones can be opened to give you a random set of wearables out of the ones in whatever edition you bought, and the filing cabinet in there now also unlocks a battle challenger. The Fringe editions will give you one random hair coupon like this: (that one is not currently available though).
