So i want to learn dnd, but i have NO IDEA what i'm doing and can't find anyone to teach me. They told me to roll a character so i'm working on 2 different bards right now.

Just their appearance, hopefully i can gain some instruction by the time i'm done.

Here is the first bard ,

i'm still working on the second.

I would greatly recommend buying the D&D Player's Handbook (4.0 version) if you have not yet bought it, because it is a very great resource to use to determine how to do character creation in the present version D&D, though it doesn't have the bard class in it, I'm sure you find that somewhere :)

This fellow has some nice downloadable character sheets to work a character up on. Grab some dice and roll up your character's stats and go from there. The high and low rolls determine your character's abilities and weaknesses, so you can work up a personality and backstory that fits.
