Another question I have is why is it that the forums say that I've made 101 posts, but my achievement has only given me credit for 95? (I even have a star now. Woohoo!)
Am I missing something?
Please Ping! Thank you. :)

To get your "Making a Living" achievement, you have to visit the "Edit Shop" link at the top of your shop's pages. It will show how much you have earned overall, rather than what is currently in your till.
As for the post count, I'm not entirely sure what is going on there. Perhaps someone else has a clue...?
Thank you! ^^
Problem solved on the first issue. Now let's see if someone can explain the other...

I think the post count issue is a glitch. My achievement is showing 3211, and my count on the forums is showing 3235.
Do you think filing a ticket is necessary, or maybe seeing if there's a topic that has been posted in the Problems and Bugs section (and if not, making one)?

I would try posting in Problems & Bugs, I think the issue is that the achievement isn't counting posts made on the updated forums. I know there were other glitches going on with the forum update, but most of those were discussed on the feedback topic (I know asked me about a few issues I had), I don't know if there's a comprehensive thread in P&B about all the new forum glitches but if there is one you could just add this one there.
Done. :) I found a topic that was already posted about the new forum issues and posted it there. Hopefully these problems will be fixed soon. (like not being able to see your topic title)

I hope so. I was in R200 earlier and it seemed like a lot of the first posts were missing or something like that, on the threads that had been transferred over. I can see the thread titles fine but I couldn't edit mine earlier even once I figured out how to lol
While I was reading through some of the bug reports, I noticed other users saying the same thing about the missing forum posts. One said that the Vesnali plot guide was only showing about 3 pages worth of posts when it originally had about 30. I guess this is just the testing phase to work out all the kinks.

They already did this though with testing, I think this is the actual release of the new forums :/ I mean some of it, you can't really test out before hand (like the pages going missing when they transferred old threads) but still.
I do understand the part about not being able to control the missing posts, but if this is the actual release, I think they should have done some additional testing before implementing it. Let's just pray the process of fixing the bugs is quick and (at least somewhat) painless. crosses fingers

I agree. I don't know what all the testing entails though, so I don't want to whine too much. And I set up custom CSS to take care of the things that were bothering me the most about the update (the blinding whiteness, mainly) so I'm all good at this point :P
I must admit I'm not too crazy about all the whiteness either (it needs at least some color in my opinion), or the excessive space everywhere (it all seems too spread out), and the tiny text and pictures.
I definitely need to learn how to create my own custom CSS especially now that this has come about.

I'm not good with coding (I got a couple of the things I posted from ) but I did manage to change the background colors of posts, and the color of the forum titles text on my own (though the post background coding also affects the inventory, quest pages, news page, etc. all kinds of updated pages). It doesn't bother me that much though since I couldn't read the forums without it lol. Here's all the coding I have though in case you need any of it:
div.ui.tertiary.inverted.segment {background-color: !important;}
div.ui.grid {background-color: !important;}
.post.action {background-color: !important; color: !important}
strong.user.title {color: !important;}
Top line changes the post headers with the time and the edit/ping/etc. buttons Second line changes the post background (and inventory, etc. because I suck at coding :P ) Third line changes the background color and font color of condensed posts Last line changes the font color of the forum titles
