So, I don't want to give anything away or anything like that but I'm super confused. I found an egg she was needing and now when I go to "Talk to Esther" She just says the same message:

The thing is...now... I get this message if I go to her with an egg or with nothing at all in my inventory. Should I still be looking for eggs? How do I know which eggs are actually ones she wants if the message never changes and we can't see what we've checked off? OR is it just a matter of finding one and waiting for the next plot development? I also noticed she did not take the egg I found so I can't use that as a means to tell either.

So basically, how do we tell what to do next, or do we just wait right now?

You're right, it's not very clear at all. You'll want to keep looking, there are eight eggs in total.
