It works now!

I know this isn't really helpful but saving from the alpha wardrobe worked for me and my HA updated almost immediately, also using Chrome :x

Normally you only need to click save and then it changes after a little while. I myself haven't tryed it yet but my sister changed already two times with the alpha testing wardrobe on Chrome and her HA changed without a problem.

Two possibilities One is that it is changing (i.e. other people can see it properly) but you can't see it because your cache isn't updating. Try clearing your cache then do a forced reload. Two, I noticed when I used the alternate wardrobe that the order of layering doesn't always come out right, so if you are using whiteout or vanishing cream, it may be putting that on a higher layer. Try moving the whiteout or vanishing cream to a different layer, then moving it back again.
