I hate when I'm selecting individual items I specifically want in my gallery, and it makes me choose the only shop I have.
I would rather be able to simply click "Move to a Shop" and the item go straight to my shop, instead of making me select which shop (of the one) I want. So make it like the vault. You click, and wahlah, it's there. All done. Back to inventory.
I don't know if this could be implemented coding wise and stuff, since people often have more than one shop, so I don't know how they would separate the two.
Oh well, just my thoughts on the matter. 😕
Vouching for this. I understand the option if there's more than one shop, but if people only have one shop it's not really necessary to go that extra step.
I think rather than 'Move to Shop' then going to a different page, we could just have 'Move to Shop A' ,'Move to Shop B', etc all on the item page. It works like that for pets, you don't click 'feed to pet' then select a pet, it just has a list of all the pets right there.
The OP is talking about when they move individual items. Personally I don't tend to use Quickstock for just one item lol
I don't know. It just seems kind of unnecessary. Like is it really that big of a deal that you have to click one extra link for something?
I usually use quickstock, but if I have a bunch of items I'm putting in my vault vs idk ten actually going into my shop, it's easier to click the three individual items and put those in the shop instead of going to the quickstock page and having to find those few out of a 100 and select "move to shop". Essentially what said.
However, I don't think it would be good to have to have all the shop links separate like said. If someone has 10 shops, it'll make the page really long. Esp if they have like, 20 pets as well. So many links on one page isn't a good idea.
I guess the difference is that I very rarely have more than 15 items in my inventory at one time, so using quickstock is my go to method lol I don't have to sort through a bunch of items.
But it still seems kind of unnecessary to me. What's the harm in one extra click?
I usually end up with 100+ (yea I don't know how that happens, but it does). I like short cuts, that's all. Who doesn't like shortcuts?!
You hoarder lol
But wouldn't it kind of be two separate layouts, meaning two different sets of code, for the people that have multiple shops/galleries, and the people that only have one?
I am. Have you seen my hoard?! Haha. Yea, that's the only thing I'm not sure about, how it could be done. I don't know how lots of code works, so if anyone does, suggestions on how to get this possibly working?
I agree. Even though I use quick stock on most occasions, for the few times I move items to my shop item by item it is really annoying to have to click a second link even though I only have one shop. I probably use quick stock more than necessary just because of this.
Maybe, instead of listing all your shops automatically, an option to choose a "favorite" shop, or something like that, that would be listed on the item page above an option for "Or see more shops" for your full list? Or, even better, up to 2-3 "favorite" shops that would be listed? It would at least be an improvement over the people who have a massive amount of shops and galleries but would still save the extra page loading.
