Woo! I'm getting Married on Friday!!!
I am feeling excited and nervous at the moment. Anyone have any tips about getting married?
Parenthood is defiantly hereditary. If your parents didn't have any children, then chances are you wont either.
Just wanted to say ... Congratulations! I'm afraid I can't offer any tips though, I've not been married myself ^^;
CHECK THE DAY BEFORE that you have EVERYTHING you need. Make a bazillion checklists to make sure you don't forget anything! D:
Horror Story: realizing while the photographer tries to take the dress pics that your father took the corset and tulle skirt out of the bag and that you have to go to the nearest Davids Bridal to buy new ones. I had a break down over that one. I was so pissed that I was late to my own wedding. I never wanted to be that bride.
So MAKE SURE TWO, THREE, FOUR TIMES that you have everything.
And if you know what you want your make-up to look like, stand up for yourself and make sure it's done the way you want. You don't want to look back on your pictures and say to yourself "Gosh, I hate how much mascara and eyeliner I'm wearing." Kinda ruins the happiness of looking at the pictures. :c
Oh, and make sure you keep your kleenex on hand when you walk down the aisle. If you don't need it, no big deal. But if you do need it, trust me, you'll wish you had brought it with you.
But all these negatives are just because my wedding morning was so flustered and chaotic. xD The day itself was so enjoyable once everything got fixed. ^-^
So relax, meditate maybe, take a few deep breaths (and I mean more than just two or three), and think about how happy the day will be and the fact that you get to share the whole thing with your partner, your families, and all your friends. 8D
I was in my friend's wedding, and after the photographer finished with us she realized all of the pictures were without her veil on! They were still stunning but a little detail that we all overlooked. And no one got a picture of her and her father walking down the aisle (okay, he was so nervous he rushed her down the aisle, lol). The photographer really missed the ball on that one though but it was a great day!
