It would be really cool if when you searched for an item you could see how many there were on the site. I don't know if it would be part of the 'Search Subeta' or if it would be a new feature.

I don't think they want users to know that information, last I heard, they won't even tell you via ticket. (It'd be cool though)

ummm... i don't think it's necessary why would you need this? if you're looking for a rare item and there is none in shops or trades means either two things:

  • there isn't really none in the entire site (nothing you can do about it)
  • there are a few but it's on people's inventories, wardrobes, vaults, and that's like peeping into their accounts.

I like the idea, and I think it would be OBSCENELY cool. It'd probably also help with prevention of inflation.

I don't think it would be too much like peeping into peoples accounts, though, so long as you don't see where those items are, etc.

I think that'd count as a small invasion of privacy. I mean, they aren't giving away names, but trust me, people can and will find you!

I don't see how this would be useful except for things like the secondskin and maybe CWs. It would be a neat thing to know, sure, but what would the information be used for?

While cool, I don't think this is needed. It'd only be useful for CWs maybe. But otherwise, seems like it'd be a strain on the system with not that much use

I don't think this is needed. It's too much of a strain on the system and users just don't really need to know that kind of thing, imo.

I will love you forever if you trade me:

Although it'd be cool to know how many of some items are on site, I don't think it's something needed. I'm also not sure if staff wants us to know how many of some rare items still exist.

See this is what I'm thinking too. Plus am I holding on to items hoping the price will go up but in fact there are thousands on the site. Plus it would just be so cool to know ^_^

I could think of a ton of positives uses for this info, but I have a feeling the site's infrastructure wouldn't be able to handle those kind of searches on a regular basis...
