(Not sure if this belongs here but this seemed the best spot. Unless it's considered feedback...)
Why is it that after over 9 years they still can't handle over 1,200 users online at once? I know there are countless things to do but there has to be someone in the mix of people if not two who can solely focus on getting this taken care of.
Read that again.

Strangely enough, the site hasn't gotten much better at handling large loads of people over a year span, but it is WAY better at handling people now than it was during Epicon or the reading drive this year. It seems to handle 1700 people online at once now than it could 900 people back then.

i'm not sure but what ive read from other users, it has a lot to do with the outdated code. even with a ton of servers, the site would still be running on broken outdated code.

Weird, but I have seen very little trouble with the site running today (and lately.) It was a bit slow and I got a few errors when the Free Shop first opened up earlier today, but has been loading like lightning for most of tonight.

I haven't had too many issues with errors or lag lately, but Subeta has been pretty slow for me at least today. I agree that the site is running better than during the barrage of events over the summer, but there is a reason why is a part of the official site canon.

Mm... one of my earlier reservations with this site (which is why I didn't join immediately) is that is seems a little slow. I suppose it is because it is a pretty small site and therefore have fewer people dealing with its coding issue.
