I see there is a slot that says pumpkin collection on our profiles but i have no idea what that is or where to get them?

The item has an option for you to carve it, and any of the resulting pumpkins can be added to your collection. :)

No problem, the carved pumpkins may be cheaper to buy if you're just trying to complete the collection, but carving them also gets you an achievement if I recall correctly.
