So I understand that subeta pets are there for anyone to mold into personalities and characters and what not. But I guess I'm just curious, is there anywhere it states how the creators imagined the original different species temperments?

Any thoughts on how your favorite species would act...feel free to share

I'm very sure there is the "Subeta Canon Project" done by and after some Google search I actually found it as well. :)
