Just recently bought something from a NPC shop and there's no more captcha. All someone has to do is refresh the page that you complete the purchase on and they can buy X amount of the item. Doesn't seem very fair. Why was captcha taken away and will it be brought back, or something similar?

- It was removed several weeks ago for low rarity items. Rare items still have a captcha, and the 5 second wait between purchases is still in effect for everything.

That's odd...I was able to refresh and buy two items of the same kind within 1 second of the other...

- I just bought a Green Permanent Marker to test, and got this after refreshing:

Oh No! You can only buy an item every 5 seconds! Give everyone else a chance.

Yeah sometimes there is a captcha and sometimes there isnt :o

Items with rarities <50 have no captcha.

I was wondering about this too, but I like the change. Captcha is a pain in the ass, especially when you're just trying to casually buy something. Makes sense not to have it on low rarity items.

I personally love the lack of captcha, not for restocking but for questing. With the changes it makes it so much quicker and easier.

I also get the 5 second rule :p

I have to agree with everything said here, especially what illusion said. :) I wasn't aware that the captcha was removed for all items below Rarity 50, and was about to file a thread in the Problems and Bugs thread, because it seemed random to me (I don't really check item rarities when I quest.)
