Curious, but I opened an invitation just now and I didnt get the achievement. Is this achievement no longer active? :(

Are you sure it was a hastily written invitation? It has to be an invitation such as

Ooh I just checked my inventory and its just invitation. HA. Woops. I bought the wrong one. :(
