I really want the Job title Smelter operator for my pet Wits, she's only level 70 and she needs to be around 120 so does anyone know a list of cheap books or could recommend any?

I don't have a list, but you could go vend at the Blue Sky machine in Veta. Just doing one day's worth of wizard quests should get you enough tokens for a decent amount of books.
