I was wondering if this was really happening, as sometimes it seems like people are doing this, but to see someone claim to give one right under me, never receiving it, but then seeing that person make the same claim several times since... I'm sorry, but everyone participating wants the coins or they wouldn't be participating. If you want them so bad you will screw the other players over by making false claims, then you are a truly awful human being.

Yeah, it's pretty impolite. I made a little box in my profile to remind me to send the people flowers when I don't have that much on hand. They should do that too if they have terrible memory.

Ive never had that situation :o But then again i usually dont go to the ____ the person above you threads :x I could see how irritating it could be Dx

I don't really see the big problem, as you both get a coin from one flower. So the only problematic thing is that you get only one coin instead of two if they don't give you a flower back, right?

It is rude not to give someone something when you told them you would, but I don't think it's that bad in this case.

Edit: OH. Okay, I misunderstood. I thought we were talking about a "I flower you, you flower me" situation. If it's something like those flower the person above you threads, that is pretty rude. :/

I agree with you. If someone says they'll give you a flower, especially in those "Flower the person above" boards where everyone wants to get coins, it's extremely rude when someone doesn't. I think some people can just be rather greedy with events like these, which really ruins the whole purpose. :/

I think what sometimes happens in the "flower the person above threads" is that they end up sending to the wrong person. If someone sends a flower to the person at the bottom, then posts - well someone is going to get skipped, because they can tend to move fast. Its probably true that there are some assholes who don't send, but I like to think that in the majority of cases its just a mistake.

The majority of the time when I've posted in those threads, I've gotten a flower back. Thanks to all those who do follow through and send flowers :)

Aww, I'm sorry that happened to you. I think it's happened to me too. Which is why I made an agreement with my friend that almost every flower I find will go to her and vice versa

ugh, i hate when that happens. it happened for the masquerade and trick-or-treating, and itll probably happen forever -__-

some people are just too dumb to realize that they need to post first, THEN see whos above them. not give it to the last person they see then post. its just common sense, and apparently a lot of people dont have that :/

Ugh! I hate that too, seeing as that's the main way I get whatever we have to give/get for these types of events.

I do my best to make sure I get to the right person and I hope lately I haven't missed anyone. If I do see that someone was skipped, I'll get to the skipped person as soon as I can.

You know what though? I swear there are people who I KNOW that I've flowered in those boards but they mail me and tell me they didn't get one. I send them another one anyway just to avoid trouble but sheesh. -.-

Agreed. I mean it's easy to accidentally skip a person once or twice on the forums because they move so fast, but to repeatedly keep doing it is just irritating /:

My biggest pet peeve though is when someone makes a 'if you flower me, I'll flower you' thread and somehow I never receive the flower. Same with the random item/art for flower giveaway threads. I've posted in many and only received an item once or twice. I've never gotten any art.

It's annoying when people post 'I'll draw 3 random people on this page' and just end up picking 3 of their friends that happen to mysteriously pop up. It's like... really ? e__e

If you're going to say something, please act on it. It's just polite, and why cheat someone else out of the event ? /:

I went in those 'Flower above' boards, but I got bored after awhile, keeping up with the thread and also not getting a flower every time I posted.

I instead hoard my flowers until the end of the day, make my own board giving out flowers as long as the person sends me one (or more) and I give them back as I get the events. Much better, it is quite busy with all the events and posts, but it is better as I am getting all the flowers sent to me and the coins I get from flowering them.

I made a similar one With the masquerade, Where i gave 10k Vouchers for each person who danced with me, And i did do that, until i went to sleep, and the board stayed alive somehow :x I got so confused with the people that invited me after i went to sleep, that i didnt send them Dx

Yeah that's definitely true /: I didn't think about that.

But maybe when they're logging off for the night just put something like 'logging off ! Post here if you flowered me and I'll send you your prize/art/whatever in the morning' ? It's a lot more polite than just leaving people hanging.

That's why I just participated once. Too much to stress over with. Let's flower people at random and be happier ^^
