Man, I hope this is in the right place. XD I've been wondering what the title was for a very, very long time. D: Anyways, this what I remember:

It was a movie of Japanese animation shown of Adult Swim. The main character was a boy, and he ends up meeting a robot who is modeled after a man's deceased daughter. I can't remember to much more; other then a lot of people I believe where after the girl, and she ends up "dying" after I believe it was trying to protect the boy, or harm him. x_x; And then she falls of this huge tower and in the end up shows the boy holding some part of the robotic girl, I think. And I also know the girl toke a long time for the man to make, and money, since he wanted real organs then robotic ones; and a guy who is selling them to the man on I believe the black-market, says something like "You know, I don't know why you want to use real organs- Mechanical ones would last longer, and real organs are hard to get and illegal."

I can't remember much more, other then the girl had blonde hair and was glowing green from the light the boy was in when he first meets her... I think. And something about the girl and the boy promising to be best friends forever? Haha, I could be wrong, since my memory isn't the best....

Anyways, does anyone have an idea what this movie could have been? If I remember right, I liked it, but ended up crying. XDD

I did some googling and i've come up with two possibilities:

  • 'Battle Angel Alita' or
  • 'Metropolis'

Am I right? xD
