...Sorry if I'm wrong. But the online status thing bugs me. Maybe sometimes I don't want my friends knowing I'm on.

Shouldn't it be that if you have your status hidden you're well... hidden?

It's not that I don't want to talk with my friends... But having 5 events saying I have a new comment is incredibly annoying when trying to vend or quest.

I was going to fill out a suggestion... But does anyone agree with me on this?

Hnnn. Maybe to have an option to be completely hidden would be of use, but I actually rather like to be hidden from everyone but my friends when I choose "hidden". I think it was made thinking that since you've added them to your buddylist, they must be rather close to you. Why hide it from them? c:

Can't you just put it in your status? "QUESTS. DO NOT BOTHER." or.. something like that. XD

I agree with you, Justice. Sure, they are friends and I like talking to them but sometimes I don't want to talk but the fact that my friends can see that I am online makes me force myself to comment or mail them back although I actually don't want to. Plus - even if I put something like 'do not disturb' into my status some people just don't seem to care and state their comment/mail simply as highly important so that they have an excuse for 'disturbing'. So in my opinion it would be good to have an option that hides you completely from everyone and their dog, yes.

you could always use the code to put the events on the side of page that way they won't be piling up on the top

Tried that - result were more comments in where I was asked if they hurt my feelings with something that made me not react. :P

The thing with putting them on the side doesn't change the fact that they are still there. You don't always want to talk to people online anymore than you do IRL sometimes. And saying 'you know, I don't really want to to talk to you right now' is just rude. It'd be better to hide. Plus people might think you're ignoring them if you don't reply even though you're obviously online.

I agree. sometimes I'm only on for quick things, or late at night, and am not in the mood to socialize.

Some of my friends comment me incessantly if I don't respond and I feel bad not responding but like, what do i do, go "hey my response to whatever you said is no i don't have time right now"

last night i popped back on for a few minutes to check something and i got a comment about helping to flower a friend but i was just about to go to bed >:c i ended up just not responding cause i was tired but it would've been so helpful to have just been able to "Appear Offline"

Something like [not really here] works for me when I'm in business mode, msn and subeta. Maybe you could try that? :) Not that it's a bad suggestion.

That's like changing your MSN status to 'away'... People still IM me even when I'm not there at all.

I would really like an offline button or something, would use it often. -_- It's a pain to try to do stuff when people don't leave you alone. I have tried putting a message up saying busy, or leave me alone.. but that gets even more comments cause people want to know what's wrong.

I also agree with this. Most of the time, the status thing doesn't update for me until a few days later, or not at all. So I don't really use it all that much. I don't usually run into too many problems, because I have a very small friends list, but I know how irritating it can be.

But the fact it says in the trades if You are online as well.. doesn't it all sort of defeat the purpose?

I do heart my friends but I don't always feel like chatting or getting on aim. Sometimes I just want to be alone and do quests or something.

But with this it leaves my options as.. remove everyone from my friends list, or be social when I'm not in the mood to do so. And I've already removed everyone I possibly can.

LOL I don't even have any trades most of the time so it doesn't effect me. But I doubt people are really going to go through the trouble of looking through trades to see if I'm on.

Actually... I do do that :x Not specificly to you, but when im looking to buy something for cheaper in someones shop, ill look on their profile, then their trades, And the fact that their hidden, makes it harder for me to buy it, So that case, it could be them losing a Sale :/
