So from what I've assumed from people going 'GAAAH WAS ALMOST INACTIVE FOR A YEAR THEN THEY LOGGED IN I WANTED THAT PET NAME' and stuff, pet names are eligible to be cleared after a year of inactivity...? Or something?

What if the user who owns a pet is frozen? Can you ask for the name to be cleared?

Frozen/inactive accounts are typically cleared every 12-14 months.

Frozen accounts are treated the same as inactive accounts usually. Staff gives the user time to appeal the freezing...

I've got a bit of a question to add to this.

What if the frozen user in question was found guilty of serious rule-breaking, (like cheating or multis), would they still be able to appeal? And it not, would it be possible to snag a pet name from them without having to wait so long?
