Lex held himself firmly, arm at the ready, and took one swift lunge at the other. He was an expert, and it was something that could be demonstrated with how smoothly he moved in attack of the other.
OOC: Sorry, sorry, sorry! D':
Remy
Remy quickly responded to his partner's motion. The nurse quickly parried with his blade, but didn't take a moment to strike back even though he had perfect opportunity to do so. Lex had demonstrated that he was quite cultured with the blade, and Remy knew had he lunged at the other, it would be blocked easily. It was also easier to waste more energy when you were on the offensive. Instead the Nurse went back to a defensive position to learn a bit more about the other.
It was how Remy worked really, he loved to watch his opponents so he could learn to be one step ahead of them to find that perfect move that would give him a flawless victory. Of course his out of shape body probably wouldn't allow him to last as long as it would when he had competed. If all the new fencers this year were as good as this boy's fluid motion, however, Remy would quickly be whipped back into shape.
Chayton
The older boy gave a small chuckle and ruffled Jayden's hair in a brotherly way. The Student Council President was actually very fond of most people younger than him. He had always been a brotherly figure back home, though he had no siblings of his own. So instead he always took the time to play big brother for everyone who looked for it. "They stay this way." He added with a small point of his finger. They began walking down the first floor of dormitories seeing as the higher grades were upstairs.
Chay paused a moment by a large bulletin board that were dotted with names. "What is your last name Jayden?" He asked carefully. This year there was a Jayden and a Jaiden, so narrowing it down before Chayton sent him to the wrong room would have been preferred.
Chris
He had made it to his dorm easily, not knowing that he had been spotted by another senior. One whom he had avoided the entire previous year. And naturally, if he had known Victor had spotted him, he would have taken the long way around the dorm to get to his room. In all honesty, Chris was sure that Victor was going to kill him. Of course he had every reason to believe so.
The previous year Chris had been trying to play a prank on one of his fellow classmates. The classmate and him had a prank war of sorts, more of a pranking rivalry of epic proportions. Of course Chris had just put the final touches on quite frankly one of the most awesome pranks he could ever imagine. Victor had prematurely been caught up in a rather than the afore mentioned classmate. The Italian's history project had become completely soaked and ruined in a matter of seconds. Naturally Chris was positive that if he explained it's an accident Victor wouldn't believe him. So instead, Chris ran away and avoided him to try and prolong his life a bit longer.
Jayden's smile widened a little. It was like having an older brother. He'd always been an only child since his mother never remarried or adopted after his father leaving. "Ashford." He responded, shifting his bag a little and looking around. There were tons of other kids going into their rooms, getting ready for classes, going up stairs to the senior rooms. This would definitely take some getting used to. He looked up at the list of names but the print was small and he had trouble spotting his. He had to hope Chayton would find it. He wasn't quite sure how the list was organized anyway.
(>< short...)
Lex was usually better on the defensive but he lunged again as the other seemed to have taken up that role. His footwork was the best of his class, and nothing to shake a sabre at. The Jackson heir had been classes as Olympic-ready at the age of seven, though he had not competed. Lex had not wanted to, dispite what his parents wanted.
It was not a hard thing to do, getting his parry under the other and whacking it to the side so that he had a clear shot to the others padded chest.
Walking out of the teacher's lounge Tempest just shook her head. Walking down the steps she listened carefully and hearing a familiar voice and sound she followed it. Comming across the fencing pair she shook her head lightly as she leaned against nearby wall.
Tapping her heels slightly she then spoke carefully, "Remy I thought you said that you were just sticking to gym last year? Especially after one of the students beat you so badly last year?" With that she tilted her head causing her dark hair to fall in front of her face.
