I'm up for a LoTRs RP. I've got a good idea that I've tried as a 'sign up if you want' RP, and it failed miserably, but I still like the idea... and if you're up to the idea(as you seem to be), I can explain it further later.

lol Good luck scaring me off. >< Anyways, here's the plot-line I wrote a while back (that nobody joined to... TT^TT ) that I couldn't put into the PM because of the character limit:

In the ending of the Third Age and the beginning of the Fourth Age of Middle Earth, the elves left for the Undying Lands, or Valinor. Men are left alone, with stories of these creatures whose immortality and beauty is famed and only compared to the infamous orcs of the Second and Third Ages.

Years turn to decades, and decades turn to centuries and the memory of the elves, as well as their legions and mark upon Middle Earth, is buried, only brought up in children's tales.

The legends of the elves quickly turn and shape themselves into legends of the orcs. Elves, no longer beautiful, graceful, and wondrous creatures turn to the things of nightmares. Green, scaled skin covers them, and they have long tails. Their legs are bent, like a werewolf's, and their hands are claws, made only for slashing.

They wear hoods, 'tis said, to hide their ugliness from the world, and the stronger of their race weave spells to make them appear more beautiful than any other. They dabble in dangerous and evil spells and magics, and they are out to eat any little children that disobey their parents and wander heedlessly from their home.

Tales, meant only to scare young children into submission, follow them when they become adults. Soon, the memory of who the elves had once been is lost forever.

Or so it would seem. The elves have come back, since Ilüvatar, also known as Eru, along with the Eldar, have warned them of a great disaster that is to come to Middle Earth, and has instructed them to return.

Many agree, but many stay behind. Soon, a fleet sets out for Middle Earth's coast. One questions sticks in everyone's mind: what is this strange new terror?

When the men hear of their landing, they find many elves and put them to death. Frightened and disgusted by this welcoming, they flee back into the woods to try and protect the land from the shadows.

As a shadow grows once more from Morder, a new servant of Morgoth, it appears, men don't know what to do, and blame the elves.

Can the elves and men work together as they had once-upon-a-time? Or is the fate of men and Middle Earth already doomed?
