Anyone else mistake people for people they know on a regular basis? lol

I recently saw this couple riding bikes together... I thought it was my friend and her boyfriend so I smiled at them sweetly to say 'Awww look, you ride bikes together too!' The is... until the girl gave me this 'You're creepy.' look... and I noticed it wasn't my friend. xD xD Oh dear... awkward.

Back in the winter I noticed a red car stuck in the snow outside my house. I started pointing and laughing because I thought it was my brother and his girlfriend... but yeah. It wasn't. Hahahhaa. I felt like an ass!!!

What about you?? I wanna hear your awkward stories.

A few weeks ago at school I noticed a girl crouching down by my foreign exchange student's locker.. She had the exact same hair color, but only a lot shorter, so I walked up to her and yelled 'Ohmygosh wow! Margaux! When did you cut your hair!?' and the girl- who definitely was not Margaux, looked up at me and looked so freaked out. It turns out it was one of her dance team friends that was decorating her locker for her, but I felt so dumb. xD

Yesterday I screamed "CASSIE!" at some girl that I thought was my friend. She turned around and gave me a "what do you want creeper?" look.

Lmao, some kid my friend had in her geometry class was at a gas station and saw this girl with really long hair that he thought looked kind of cute. He went up to her and asked "how's it going?" and they turn around, and it turns out to be a dude. x)

Maybe once or twice; but I don't remember. I've been mistakened for my friends Christina and Melissa. I have a sort of funny story though. Once during play, Cast A and Cast B were preforming in different rooms. So I told my Cast A friend that since she was only going to be at half of rehearsal, I was going to rehearse with Cast B (I'm in both casts, no understudy). So.. my friend tells me this. She was upstairs, and saw a kid who looked like me, sitting on the desk and looking at pictures. So she goes up and hugs them and says "Hiya Jish! How are you?" and the kid turned around and said "My name is Carter...". He called her a rapist the day. Then another time, I was with Cast A; and a different friend said that we had the same hair. So I took of my glasses and appearantly, we could be twins. But yeah, he still calls her a rapist. Even when I told her I wasn't going to be there.. and she still thought I was a boy.

I used to do this all the time. I've got glasses now so I'm quite a bit better at telling if people are my friends or not from a distance.
