So. I went to the caves with the intention of blessing one of my pets. Problem is, I clicked on the wrong pet.

nope.

Try using an Elixir/potion. that would turn it back into whichever pet it was before, As long as you get the right one :)

I think she meant she hasn't done the quest yet to change it...but once you choose the pet you want to bless there's no way of reversing it. Pounding it works but this is in no way advised as it considered abusing a glitch.
