How long before posting is considered necro`ing?

I have a topic I made back at the end of January, and I'd like to post in it again, but I don't want to get in trouble for dead topics and such...
And I just remember someone saying ''You'd be surprised how old something has to be'' before, but that was in discussion about three month old revivals.
Anyone know definitively?
