I thought the song meant that he wouldn't cheat on her. That was my interpretation based off of the last little section there.

Like, he would do anything for love within the confines of his relationship with her. He won't look for love elsewhere.

Haha, I get what the song means, I was just curious if it meant something else to anybody out there.

As I have never heard the song, I felt kind of saddened by the quote. It seemed like a slap in the face to whomever he was aiming that towards. Like, "I'll do anything for love, but I don't love you."
