I'm still pretty new so I've never done a reading contest but I was looking at it through the games section. For the points received is it like the flower for Vesnali One book = one point or does it depend on the rarity of the item? Thanks for helping me ^^ And how does it tie in with the Crystal Shop? I saw a post about it and I got confused... I'm just curious how it all works. Thanks! ^^

I am not sure about the reading contest either. It has not started since i have been playing. I cannot wait to enter it when it does start.

You can turn in one of every book, and for every book you receive one point which you can spend in the special Reading Drive shop which opens after the event ends. This is how the last one worked, not sure if they are going to do it like that this time either :)

wow you mean there hasn't been one in 7 months? o.O wow and that's a LOT of books and points LOL how hard is it to get the achievement? and can points accumulate over contests like if I have 100 unspent points, will they roll over into the next one?

There was one I think about a year ago =) And I think you can take the points with you to the next reading drive, but since you can only turn in a certain book once, you can not turn in a book the next reading drive of which you haven't spent that point off (hard to explain, hope you understood that :P)

And it really depends on how much sP you want to spend, you should be able to find 400 books (the amount of books you need for the 'purchase a malice' achievement) all for less then 500k, but since Keith said there is going to be a new one soon, books have shot up in price a lot so it will probably cost you a lot of money if you want to get the achievement.

If you really intend to go for the Malice, I'd start doing wizard quests and then spending the tokens at the Blue Sky vending machine. I've hoarded a few hundred books that way, enough to turn in and have leftovers to sell :)

haha yeah, my priority was to let my pet Vischous read first and copies I'll send for the reading competition, but maybe for now I should have that going back wards.haha How do you remember which book you've already sent the previous years? ^_^'

Here you can find a list of the books you donated, if you spend the points you've got from a book it dissapears from the list :)
