I like baking, although I'm not terribly good at it, I can only make simple stuff. I'd like to bake something for my stepmom, but she's perpetually dieting.

I love those cookies! But IMO, they taste so much better without almonds. We make them for Christmas every year. Perhaps I'll have to make some this weekend. We also call them Russian tea balls

Edit: they are the BEST right out of the oven and you dump them in the crac... I mean powered sugar and eat them right then! mouth starts watering

I got my mom and card and had flowers delivered to her work place-since I have the flu and cant give them to her in person (Which she was really pumped about as no one has sent them to her work before. Her 3rd grade girls, shes a teacher, helped her find the card and arrange the bouquet!)
