WOW, I haven't posted on the forums in fo'everrrrr. C: lololol.

So, my dog has been doing some extreme excessive whining and I mean NON-STOP whining. She started doing it about a week ago, and it's getting worse. She's a full blooded chihuahua and she NEVER whined like this. :/

She still eats and plays when we play with her. She eats like a little piggy and plays just like herself, but she's acting so extremely strange when she just sits there or rides in the car. She even whines during playtime. She just sits on the couch or floor, stares at me or my boyfriend dead in the face and starts whining. It's getting really out of control and I don't know what to do. :/

I'm thinking about maybe calling my vet tomorrow morning and asking him what he thinks could be the problem.

What do you think may be the problem?

was she left alone recently for quite some time?

or is her period about to come? she could be in pre-heat

Maybe she's in pain? You should definitely call the vet.

and that dog always gets disciplined. I doubt she wants to get in trouble more than she does.

Well, I mean, she's never done this before. You could possibly be right. She just sits somewhere and starts whining then she'll look over at me or my boyfriend and start whining more. If I give her attention, I know she'll use her whining to draw me in, so I don't fall for it.

I think I'll just call my vet soon. :c

I'm with , get her spayed. It will prevent unwanted puppies, it relaxes most dogs, and it can reduce her chance of several cancers. :/
