For all my pets from another user.

Problem is, 3 of my pets aren't completed yet. So on the buttons, they're Spectrum, Glade, etc., while actually, they're not.

I've read that one thread in the Profiles/Graphics Discussion board, and I was kind of iffy on the issue. Would it be okay to overlay buttons on my profile of the "different" pets until I morph them? I will keep their lookups unaltered so they still /look/ basic there. Would that be okay?

That's a good question... :/ I'm not positive about this so you might want to wait for an answer from a mod or someone, but the way I read the faked pets thread, it's mainly concerned with 1. Faked pet information (changing the species to say Glade Kumos when it's really a normal, and then overlaying) and 2. Linking to a pet that's not yours.

So I think using a pet button with a pet color that doesn't match your pet's current color should be fine, so long as you link to your real pet. It's not misrepresentation in my book because to actually see the pet, someone would have to click the button and they'd see the real thing. :)
