i found my galactic pets in the pound so i dont know how to get them and how much it costs.

they vary but not too too much

he randomly asks you for a random number of stones (I was never asked for more than 5) of a random color so its hard to guesstimate on how much exactly

the stones are actually gems:

Dream Gem, Black Gem, Red Gem, Yellow Gem, White Gem, Orange Gem

most expensive is Dream Gen which is usually around 30-40k

It depends but compared to other colors Galactic is a rather cheap one. Currently apart from the Dream Gem they all go for about 1-2k. Best way is to look them up by yourself with the Shop Search.
