((Time to post my character!)) We all might be one in soul, but we're different in form. Name: Akune Iris Gender: Female Race: Spite Bio: Anuke is blind, even with out the blindfold, but her other senses are much stronger then the norm to make up for it. She has always had her older twin brother Onuris with her. She's understanding of most of his actions and tries to help him out a bit. The female naga prefers to help the cursed ones then find It. It just seems to be a some form of trouble unless It can help herself or her brother. Appearance: The torso, arms and face of a young woman with the lower half of a black and green snake. A small pair of crow-like wings rests on her shoulders while a pair of black horns sprout among his choppy, black and green hair. There is also a few green scales scattered around her upper body. There is a green blindfold over her eyes that she rarely takes off. She is over 15 feet long from head to the tip of her tail. A green flame amulet hangs from around her neck and three black bands wrap around her left arm. She also wears a black tube top over her breasts. Weapon: A large curved blade, her fangs and her tail is all she needs. Other: Anuke does her best to avoid fighting, but she does know how to fight, even if she can't see.
Though all of her clothing is originally quite expensive and of the highest quality, this is attributed mainly to the good taste of her mother, who oversees their selection and purchase. As far as Fiona is concerned, clothing just appears mysteriously in her closet. She dresses according to some strange system of her own, and takes virtually no care in their preservation. She could just as easily wear jeans and a t-shirt, as some ruffly, frilly, plaid concoction, depending on her whim. Though her mother tends to try to edit her more outlandish costumes by limiting her clothing choices to those most tasteful, nothing seems to really flatter her boyish frame. Weapon: Fiona is clumsy. She's never been good at any physical activity aside from climbing trees, nor has she had any friends with whom to practice. She is sheltered and isolated, and therefore has never learned the use of any weapon. Other: Fiona's only friend or companion of any kind is a black cat, originally a stray, who answers to the name of Prrrreet (when he feels like it).
I could also whip up a Taint to play as well, if necessary.

((i guess I will ^_^))
"Get back! Filthy beasts!" Rina swing wildly at the advancing Taints with her rapier. The two in front of her reared back as the blade scored a thin gash across their stone chests. The Taint clinging to the wall above her head took the opportunity to drop down on the cornered Spite. It's claws, dulled from years of fighting, scrabbled for purchase against her marble skin. With a curse and a wild thrust, she managed to throw the beast off, sending it tumbling off the building. Seconds later, it found purchase in the air and flew raggedly away. The other two took off after their friend, deciding Rina wasn't worth the trouble. Wiping her hair from her face, Rina lept to a taller building, scanning the oblivious crowds below. "Where did you go, you little brat, you?" she muttered to herself. It was no use, the glint had gotten away during the tussle. "DAMMIT!" she swung her fist down on the ledge, cracking the stone in her frustration. This was the third one scared off before she'd gotten there. She sighed and jumped, gliding across the streets, looking for that tell-tale glance in her direction. some time later, she landed on a fountain and watched the passers by. She scanned each of their faces. There were no suspicious eyes or sudden shrieks from the crowd betraying a secret knowledge. About to give up, she spread her wings and prepared to take off when she spied a homeless man staring in her direction. "Gotcha" she whispered and hopped off the fountain. Skirting the crowds, she made her way over to the hobo who was looking everywhere but at the creature advancing on him. before she did anything hasty, she leaned right down next to him and snapped her fingers. he jumped ever so slightly and Rina grinned. No one would miss a hobo, right? sensing his mistake, the man looked right at her and asked the usual question: "What do you want?" his eyes were suspicious but not fearful as they usually were. "you have something i need," Rina cooed as she reached out for the man...((ohhh the suspense!))
A young woman with serpent lower body wondered the area. She had no idea where she was, but she knew the floor under her was cold and slick. One her arms was touching the wall since the other held a blade. "Where did he go?" she murmured to herself, but it seemed to echo in the empty area off of the walls. "A room? Just where am I?" She felt something on the wall and ran her fingers on it. "This piece. It feels familair." What she didn't know was that she was feeling a piece of stone that was covered in hieroglyphs. In fact, she was in a museum.
She continued to slide around and then heard something that sounded like breaking glass. 'Taints?! That must mean on of those humans are here too!' she said as she become alert. The vibration of steps and the sound of wings seemed to head her direction. Hearing the sound of steel hiting steel as if a blade was being unsheathed, the naga got her weapon ready to defend herself. When they were close enough, she flew away. 'I need to find Onuris.' she thought was she retreated with her hand softly brushing the wall by her.
The stone woman felt the memories shred the man's mind like confetti as they swirled about inside his head. flashes made their way through his eyes to her mind. A long, cold, stone corridor. a pair of huge, sweeping wings the taste of blood in her mouth the smell of cinnamon and cloves. Burning.
The memories receded as quickly as they'd come on. The man slumped to the pavement, panting. Rina blinked as she processed what she'd seen.
A sharp tug on her ankle made her look down. The hobo was clutching her leg, "Wha- what did you d-do to me?" he sputtered, struggling to raise his head from the pavement. Rina twitched her leg free and turned to walk away, "you had something I needed." She looked back over her shoulder, "You might want to consider looting or something...," she nodded to the oblivious crowds, "They can't see or hear you any more so you may as well." with that, she took off into the trees, pondering the latest wave of memories. What on earth could have happened to make her suppress them like that...? what had happened to her?
((cold bitch, no?))
Two thuds were heard in the direction Anuke was. The naga's body swayed a bit by a human man wearing four feathers on his head and holding a spear in his hand* as she placed a hand on her head and held her sword up. 'Damn that hurt like hell. Where did that wall come from anyway?!' she thought to herself as the taints come closer. "Don't come any nearer!" she yelled at the creatures who merely cackled. A moment later, she sliced the air in front of her, missing that taints. "Damn. Where are you Onuris?!"
((*Google the name Onuris and that's what the statue looks like.))
Rina awoke to the sound of breaking glass and the rasp of metal on stone in the chambers below. The noises echoed from the museum up to her nest in the bell tower. "What the hell is going on down there?" she muttered as she clambered out of her nest and jumped out the window.
Hovering before one of the huge bay windows looking into the main hall of the museum, Rina watched the attack unfold. A green-haired naga-girl was huddled in the corner, struggling to fend off the group of taints that had surrounded her in their usual hunting manner. The two humanoid Taints were advancing on the girl, spears raised. The naga swung wildly in front of her. in doing, she turned her head and Rina could see the bandage across her eyes. The taints were attacking a blind girl! Rina pushed her way through the window and swooped down on the taint from behind as it raised it's spear for the killing blow. she struck wildly with her rapier, feeling it vibrate up her arm as it hit home. The taint screamed as it fell, one arm hanging awkwardly at it's side, broken. the other fled, brandishing it's spear above it's head trying to ward her off. A wild swipe struck Rina in the side, sending her tumbling out of the air. She landed hard, the air knocked from her. Rina sprang to her feet, prepared to keep fighting but the taints were fleeing, apparently unwilling to fight a foe who fought back. She spat after them then turned towards the naga girl, still half sitting in the corner, "Hey. You OK?" she kneeled down and offered the girl her hand. "My name's Rina. You?"The naga stuck her forked tongue out like a snake then turned her head to the person who questioned her. "I'm fine." she answered with a little smile, as she raised up humanoid body by moving her serpent half. "I'm Anuke, and I'm trying to find my brother Onuris. He's around here I think." She bowed her head in respect to Rina. "Mind if I ask, but just where are we? All I know is that it's a building." she said as she turned her head around and breathed through her nose as if in search of a scent.
