i don't really think their a waste of time. they're really fun! besides, what's the point of just adopting one? there's no sense of accomplishment, even if it's just a small application!

Nah, it really won't be that hard to save up. :) You'd be surprised at how fast it goes.

Just keep doing your quests, sell the tokens after you have your 1000 and any rewards that you don't want.

You can also try making a Cadogre/Endeavor and zapping it. You may get lucky and get a Sheeta. c: Genderless pets seem to make the zappers a bit glitchy when it comes to gender changes. A friend of mine zapped her pet for over a week and it never turned male or female. It kept getting stuck at "...?".
