I was just wondering why my pets are starting to get hungry EVERY day now!Starting to get annoying.

It's a food sink. If it's troublesome use the Resort, it'll keep your pet happy/full for 14 days at a time.

not true my pets came out of the resort 3 days ago and 2 of them are hungry and unhappy.

ReveL is possibly implying that there is too much food-items out there in the game of Subeta. Or, she could be implying that there is too much sP out there. A 'sink' gets rid of stuff.

The ways to get rid of food-items are to have the Recycle Beast claim them, or subetapets to eat them, or for their price to drop so that they are cheap enough to fragmentize.

If it's an sP thing, then any sP spent in the food shop (whether eaten, fragged or recycled) or the Lakeview Resort leaves the game.

Does anyone actually feed their pets manually? :P For a tiny amount of sP they are in the resort, fully fed and happy for 14 days so I don't have a guilty conscience if I can't get one for a few days :P

I'm feeding one of mine Black Candy Bars manually for the event. I do need to put the others back in the resort, though.

I would feed mine manually, but I can't keep up since they're always starving.

I keep mine in the resorts as well. Very cheap and easy.

I started putting them in the resort for two weeks, then waiting a day to feed the Black Candy Bars I've stored up, then they go back to repeat the cycle. It's 100sP a day for feeding and playing, which IIRC, is once per hour. Compare that to a single food or toy item, which can cost more than 100sP. The choice is obvious!
