i'd known it for a while, but it was confirmed when i went to a high school with more computers than students, and pokemon is a perfectly acceptable conversational topic.

When I realized I spent my whole day trying to get a female Charmander on Pokemon Firered to breed it.. I finally got in the mall with my friend and I was like "YES I CAN BREED AND HAVE BABY CHARMANDERS NOW" yes. Out loud.

And I looked forward to Platinum's release and getting the Giratina figure, because I have every other existing Pokemon game. Except for the ones like Pokemon Snap and stuff. I love XD and Colosseum. <3 Andd I have Pokemon Ranger and 3 Mystery dungeons, I love those too, and I always turn it off 'til I get Skitty or Piplup and....oh. o.o;

/cough. Star Wars and all the Pokemon movies were my favorites when I was little. I still have my ticket stub from seeing Star Wars I (I think it was?) in theatres, Darth Maul gave me nightmares. I used to have 3564685486 Star Wars figurines I'd play with, Leia(spelling?) was my favorite. But I realized now she's ugly and I adore Padme and... I'm doing it again.

To top it all off, I'm renting old Star Trek movie, I'm hoping to see the new one in theatres, and I'm looking for a tutor in chemistry because I find it fascinating and wish I understood it. ....And I'll admit I thought the Star Trek figurines on TV with the lights to beam people up look cool.

...wow. I'm shocked lawl, I didn't even realize how bad I am until now.

When my endless babbling of Lord of the Rings, Star Wards, and video games began to make some people question my place in reality.

i never really thought about it, i new i was one of the 'weird' ones, but i didn't even think nerd till i was taking some random online quize and it asked what clique i fit into and i turned to my freind for the answer having no idea and she said 'we're the nerds hun'

thats when i really realized that thats probably what most would refere to my group of freinds and me as.... i just call us... weird?

oh god when I get excited about biology and anatomy like I'm talking about the most incredible thing in the world.

My mom bought a book about prescription drugs and how they affect the body, and 'guide to the human body' and I almost peed myself. lol xD

I also bought an anatomy book so I can keep it and resell the $100 one I'll have to buy.

When I got my grades from 11th grade. One 5 and the rest was 6's.

Just to inform everybody who'd like to know (since we're in a nerd-tread xD) in Norway we get grades from 1 (faaail^_^;) to 6 (best you could get. It's like an A+/A or somthing like that. It's not possible to get better than 6).

But, I kind of don't look at myselves as a nerd. I just have sort of.. easy to learn I guess. I have lots of friends and I go to a athletic school @

Since before I was born.

Sometime in middle school, I think. In eighth grade I came in second place at the county science olympiad, so I think that pretty much marked me as a nerd for life.

That's an amazing tattoo.

I realized I was a nerd when going to Biology class made me extremely excited.

Also when I studied evolution in my spare time. And to top it all off, I became nearsighted and needed glasses.

Actually, my mom pointed out that I was turning into a nerd. But she said the geek shall inherit the earth, too. Almost everyone in my family is a nerd, and I'm cool with that.
