Have any of you guys had any weird pets? I sure have.
The first was an African millipede named Manny. I loved him to death. (I was a weird cookie, chillin' with bugs.)
The second was a poisonous cane toad that we smuggled into the United States from Jamaica. Goes to show how bad security was before 9/11.
And, finally, a parakeet that attacks our dogs mercilessly, and is a biyotch. Yes, she's the size of a credit card, but she bites you for no reason.

I once kept a Daddy's Longlegs as a petXD This coming from an arachnophobicXD
Well, considering chinchillas aren't much of a strange pet, I'd have to say no :(
Never had any weird pets, but on the topic of your attack parakeet.. we had a parakeet named Satan who bit anyone who touched her. Hard. She had drawn blood many times. :(
My pets aren't weird, per se, but they sure have weird as frick personalities. XD
I've raised a grey squirrel and an opossum. I don't have either of them now, but the squirrel was successfully rehabbed and I still see her in the woods, in back of our house. ... or, at least, a squirrel that responds when I call to her. They all look very similar. ahem
The opossum had a broken toe from when he was a baby, and couldn't be released into the wild, so I had him for 3 years before giving him up to a great wildlife museum, where he could live in luxury for the rest of his days. He was an awesome pet, he would greet me at the door when I got home, climb up my pants leg and into my arms, or cling on my shoulder when I was around the house. He slept with me in my bed, and used the litter box, consistently. :3
I was sad to give him up, but he's super-happy and has a girlfriend now. :(
I'm still in the wildlife rehab circle... I was supposed to have two baby raccoons right now, but the fools decided to keep them because they got attached, and both died because their surrogate parents only gave them cow's milk. Very sad.
Oh, and I have rats. Some people find them to be strange pets, for whatever reason.
i have an alligator, two degus and a parakeet. ^_^
...Worms in a jar. Lmfao.
HAHA worms in a jar?
I feel your pain.
She tweets for every sound, and is pissed whenever something is louder than her.

I had a caterpillar I kept in a nest between two trees once. Then I accidentally stepped on him. :/
Not really, unless you count an African Grey Parrot or gerbils as weird.
I've had a couple pet ground skinks.
I also kept some odd orange spider in an empty cat litter box once. She died in the winter. :c
I've kept praying mantises and garter snakes. I used to go around my backyard during the spring and gather HUNDREDS of moth caterpillars into jars with leaves where they could spin their cocoons. I don't think any ever turned into moths, though. xD
Oh, and I wouldn't consider them as pets per se, but I helped take care of a pair of baby squirrels (not at the same time) that fell out of the tree in my backyard. One of them died and the other was fit enough to climb back up the tree. I love baby squirrels. <3
I've never had any weird pets, but my grandma has this bird that hisses. Like a cat. xD
Does the imaginary giraffe with the red bowtie in my back yard count? Or the invisible capibara with a top hat and a monocle in my front yard? ;__;
I think my weirdest pet now is my 23-pound lion of a black cat who still peeps and purrs like a kitten, but that's not terribly odd. As for future pets, I think it'd be kick-ass to own a skunk with its stinkyballs taken out. A pot-bellied pig and lionfish are things I'm considering, too (though I want to learn more about how the latter are harvested from the wild before committing--I've learned disgusting things about that).
@ Zwit:
Baby squirrels are the cutest :D My mother (who, at the time, worked at an animal shelter) and I took care of an orphaned one a few years ago (a cat and caught and killed the one we assume was the mother). Her name was Cora :)
Had to release her once she was old enough to fend for herself though.
i took care of a baby bird that had fallen from its nest. his name was chester. He would like snuggle under my covers and when id wake up he would be asleep on my head.
i had to let him go but he always comes back and sits on my bird feeder waiting for me to let himin my room through the window
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
We always had great danes at home. The first one was too small, the other one was to big. The last one missed the Guiness Book of records by a few centimeters. ... sigh :( The last one was the type they call Blue Great Dane. But ours got brown thies when he was lying in the sun. According to the manual, those types are not allowed to lay in the sun. Try to explane that to a dane who has set his mind to sunbathing. (resistance on our part was futile)
