I personally am in a nail polish fedish mood. We have a lot of colors at home, but not as much as a variety, Right now I'm wearing black and purple sparkles, but they won't dry fast enough. Yes, it's annoying to clean off, but I love wearing it anyway.

Have any tips? What're your views on nail polish? Love it, or hate it?

I used to love painting my nails, doing different designs and adding gemstones and stuff.. I don't put much effort into it anymore, so I usually just have plain colors. I wish I had more variety, but nail polish seems way overpriced to me :(

I love it. ^^ I'm wearing summery colours right now. My advice? Since summer is coming up, if you really enjoy painting your nails, I'd advise getting a special type of top coat that has an SPF in it. It will keep the colour from dulling due to the exposure of the sun. :)

I love the way it looks, but I never paint my nails because they tend to chip way too easily. :( Plus I'm horrible with letting them dry, they always smudge and I get pissed and take it off. I fail at nail polish.

I love nail polish! Though, right now I have fake french tip nails on. ^^ I have a LOT of different colors. I mainly use neon blue, purples, black, or a peach-y color. ❤️

I love nail polish. I have 72 bottles of it, tons of nail tattoos, and tons of nail stickers. :P

I fail at putting it on my right hand a lot, but this time the stuff came out right. Thanks for the tips! I'll be looking for the spf ones, and putting my hands in cold water. I hate it when they smudge and so then I have to apply even more on top of the mess to clear it up.

I suppose it depends on what job you have, but other than that I don't see a problem. I'm sorry that you cant paint 'em :l

NEON COLORS! Are amazing. I love them so much. I do agree that going out and getting your nails done "professionally" are quite stupid. You know how much it is to go in, clean your nails, and get them painted? I find the whole idea stupid. However, I do love the little designs they put on.

I like nail polish. But, I don't LOVE it. When I usually put it on my nails, it comes out badly. :c So, hopefully, next time, my sister will do it for me. -fail-

I like it, but I don't paint my nails. I have veryyy wide man-ish fingernails, so I try and keep attention off them as much as I can. x_X

Mine always gets fucked up though. I took this little vial of bright blue polish from sephora once, and it worked SO nicely. It evened itself out or something, so no mistakes were seen. XD

I pretty much ran out of it though. It was tiny. BTW, anybody know where else I could get really good nail polish ? :P

I hate nail polish, not because of how annoying it can be while putting it on, not because it takes forever and a day to clean it off, not because I get bored with it only hours later, but because I have had a bad nail-biting habit most of my life and I absolutely hated when I had to paint my nail, because my nails weren't really long enough to make it look decent, and because now that I've gotten over my nail-biting habit and can let them grow and grow, I still dislike the look of nail polish because I've never been much of a girl besides biologically and I rather never be considered girly by any.

...Dude, that sounded like a rant. Huh.

TIP: Use as few strokes as possible to spread your nail polish. Keeps it SO much smoother.

TIP: Instead of shaking your bottle of nail polish, roll it between your palms. Keeps bubbles from forming in the liquid polish, which dry as bumps.

TIP: Buff the surface of your nail before hand, then be sure to put on a base coat.

I love nail polish. Green and blue are my favorite colors, but black, neon pink and anything shiny are important staples.

I mainly use black, blue, neon colors, and purple.

And you can use sharpies to add in designs. :) Although I never do because my hand shakes a lot and I usually mess up the design.

I hate nail polish. I've never liked it since I was a little kid. :P

I paint my toes every night though since it's summer and I've started wearing my open toed kitten heels. Metallic green at the moment! Heh and they match.

I paint my toenails funky colors sometimes, but if I do anything to my fingernails, it's just a clear top coat. I don't usually do that though, since it chips too quickly.

Love nail polish. Especially the bright colors.

Anyone who says that getting your nails done professionally is stupid; you have obviously never had a good manicure. Not only does it last quite long, they also make your hands like, unbelievably smooth, and your nails are perfectly shaped and painted afterwards. It's not even that expensive, at least where I live. I prefer more subtle colors, but bright colors can be cute too (but I'm really picky so if I do a color, it has to match what I'm wearing). I dunno, black seems kind of... outdated, to me, these days.

I like nail polish but I hardly wear it anymore, only a couple times a year. I have like a zillion colors, I like variety and if I wear it, I usually do 2 or 3 colors and just do a layer or two... depends... then just wear it until it comes off, don't have any nail polish remover around, although I do need some as my daughter is starting to like to paint her nails more often and sometimes goofs up still.
