I got my driving permit a few weeks ago and I have my first lesson tomorrow. I'm super scared I'm going to crash or something like that.

So what was your first real diving experience like?

my dad let me drive the car in the parking lot of a hardware store. we were parked, and i put it in reverse and it started moving backwards. I was scared shitless because i had NO IDEA that it would start moving on its own and I stomped on the gas making us jerk back, and then on the brakes making us lurch forward. then i got out of the car and ran away.

Lol I only just got my learners permit as well. It's crazy. Mum screams at me and wont let go of the handbrake.. I've only been driving with her twice -.- LOL and she just walked in just now 'WHENS YOUR NEXT DRIVING LESSON EH!?'

I've only driven twice in my life, and the first time was just parking my then husband's car in his parents big ass driveway and the second was just going down the road a ways. No big deal.

My first driving lesson was terrible. I stalled 3 times.

I started learning to drive a few weeks ago. So far I've only stalled it once which I'm surprised about. It will be hard at first but I'm getting used to it already. You'll be fine :)

i got my permit in april and i have driven.... well not so much. i drove on the highway for the first time and it was pretty fun. good luck!

My first experience? Arrgghhh, it moves when I push this pedal.

Do drugs. Lots of them. Okay, not seriously.

Just stay calm. Don't back up over the line in the center of the road, accidentally. I failed my driver's test because of it the first time. I passed the next day.

I tried driving and I almost hit some people, a tree, and a trashcan. o:

So apparently I'm waiting until I'm 18 to get my actual license. ;(

I have never driven a car before. I planned on getting my license 7 months ago, when I turned 18, but I didn't.

Well I've only really been around car parks or empty places...but the only time I was on a proper road was in Fuerteventura. My dad let me try driving a manual hire car we had down some back road. Then 5 minutes later, after I'd just about got the hang of it, the police come around the corner and my dad's like "QUICK. HIDE YOUR FACE." Then we quickly swap seats :(

Mm, my dad made me drive his automatic around the school lots a lot, no big deal. Nothing in the way which was nice because my depth perception sucks.

Then my mom made me drive her manual around downtown Seattle. Not so good. >_>

Yay for public transit. You don't want my blind butt driving.

Hahaha.. I'm 19.. and I still don't know how to drive. /lame But, yeah, I can turn around a car, and like, I've driven around parking lots and crap. It's really not that hard. I'm pretty positive I can already drive better than most of my friends, haha.

I remember my first driving lesson. I was turning the corner and ended up on the side walk. lol.
