I'm religious, (in the loose sense of the word, I talk to god as my friend whose always with me, and listen to basically anything I want to.) but the holy trinity/whatever thing never rang up in my head, starting when my sister told me about it at three. And it's all because of one part in the bible. When Jesus got baptized, the dove. They said the dove was the spirit of god, but why would God send a dove form of himself to a person-form of himself. All very confuzing eh? I prefer to think of it as, God is Jesus's father. (depending on your age, think of that as you will,)
It has something to do with the Father Son and the Holy Spirt
CookieMonster, you should do your own research in what you believe to be true.
Don't just take your sister's words for fact. Think for yourself.
I'm going to move this to chit-chat as I honestly do not know what exactly is being debated here unless it's the validity of the trinity itself.
If God is Jesus then Jesus should be God. If they're all the same and yet different, it shouldn't matter the order you place them in.
God wasn't an actually person, I think, but he's the controller of everything, therefor, God can be whoever he wants to be. Jesus, however, was a real person, therefor, he can only be himself...I think.
