May 13, 2050 A deadly illness has struck the Earth. Many are dead already, but not from the actual illness. All of my family have been hit hard by what we have named the Homicidious Flu. For some strange reason, the main symptom of the flu is a sudden homicidal impulse. People have begun murdering others for no apparent reason. I have been lucky enough to avoid it so far, but even if I don't get the flu itself I have a high chance of being killed.

May 15, 2050 I can't trust anyone anymore. Even my closest friends have taken a shot at me. All of the scientists have gotten the flu as well. Research to find a cure has completely stopped. At the rate this is spreading, half of the world will be dead before the end of the month. It does not help that I think I might be coming down with it as well. I blacked out today, but I don't think I killed anyone...

May 17, 2050 Yes, I have the flu. I blacked out again yesterday and several times today. When I awoke I found a gun in my hand and blood speckling my face. I fear for those nearby me. I think... I need to get out before it happens again.

May 20, 2050 I can barely write anymore. My body is completely revolting against me. I don't think my mind will last through the day. This will be my last entry, but I have learned that many people have become nothing but killing machines. I hope--

My characters: Name: Tarrin Age: 18 Gender: Male Image: Tarrin is close to 6'4" He has short brown hair that is tipped with blonde. He usually wears dark t-shirts and bluejeans. He has green eyes and a slight tan. Other: Before the flu struck he would run track at his small school. So far he has escaped the worst of it but his entire family has become nothing but mindless killing machines. All of his closest friends were killed by people with the flu, but his girlfriend managed to escape with him for now.

Name: Eboneen Age: 18 Gender: female Image: Eboneen is around 5'6" She has layered blonde hair that is shoulder-length. She has blue eyes and looks very white when she is outside. For this reason many used to think she was always ill. She usually wears slightly snug shirts and bluejeans. Other: She has managed to escape the flu so far and this is only because she got away with her boyfriend Tarrin. She tries not to hold grudges against those who killed her family since they all seem almost mindless, but it is hard when she sees all the dead in the streets.

Other: None of her family had it until about a month earlier and she sadly watched her brother do away with everyone he saw. The whole family hid in the basement until it was discovered that her little brother had the flu to. It was to late. the three of them, mother, sister, and sister fleed away from everything they knew. Splitting up because of one person chasing them ( They can only catch one of the people if they all go in different directions ) Madilyn met Eboneen, who saved her while she was fainted cuz of the blazing sun, in a corn field. She has followed them, shyly since a day ago.

bic: Madilyn ran off whispering behind her " Ima go look for my living family, I'll be back, I promise. " Like a crazy person she stagered off into the day " Thank you! " She screamed at the top of her lungs. She was still alittle craxy from the sun, she could get killed and not realize it. All a-sudden life was wisped back into her, she realized she should keep going until she found shelter. Stepping foward she found a tree and slept. In her dream, she drempt of a handsome young man, her age sheltering her from the sickness. His face was a mystery but by his face she could tell he was a kind man. She woke up suddenly thinking she was hearing foot steps. Nothing was there. Was she Halusinating?

bic: Tarrin watched in shock as Madilyn took off. "Hmm... I hope she's careful. With this flu out there I'm not sure if it was safe to let her take off alone." He smiled at his girlfriend Eboneen and reached out to take her hand. "As long as you don't run off I'll be fine though."

Eboneen squeezed Tarrin's hand gently, "I don't plan to take off. Believe me, this stupid flu has killed my entire family. Well, at least driven them insane. I don't plan to leave the only one I can fully trust just yet." She smiled and ducked into the small cave Tarrin had found.

Bic: Kiri sat on a rock watching Hatiru Pace around thinking. "...What should we do?" She whispered quietly. When she did talk it was very quiet. Very Childish sounding. Their house was ruined and they truly had nowhere to go.

"Lets look around for more people... Not under the influence of the Virus" Hatiru said smiling. "We should get going though... Are you packed?" He pulled up his backpack and slumped it on his shoulder.

"Yes..." She stood up awkwardly. She grabbed her bag and walked up to her brother as he started down the road, scattered with several bodys.

bic: Looking to her right she saw a snake, she wasn't crazy. But she had to get away. Screaming at the top of her lungs she ran away as fast as she could. 5 minutes into the run she stopped, almost about to faint and caught her breath. Why couldn't the man in her dreams find her? What if he had the flu now? She never saw his face, she never got a good look at him. What if he was out to kill her now? What if he didn't exist? She pushed the thought out of her mind, it was to hot. 113o F she guessed. Then she fell, dead asleep, fainted on the ground. Way to hot.

Tarrin and Eboneen sat in silence for a long time until they heard screaming down the road from them. "That sounds like Madilyn." Eboneen said with a slight smile. They had only known her for a short time, but her scream was unmistakable.

Tarrin chuckled and leaned his head out of the small broken cave-like hole in the side of old building, "Yea, I'd bet you a cure for this virus that it's Madilyn." He stood up and carefully looked around before starting out of the hole. "Stay here." He whispered, to Eboneen before taking off toward the screams.

Kiri Blinked and cocked her head as she heard a scream come from ahead of her and her bother. "hmm?" Hatiru Itched his head and thought for a moment. "Maybe another killing?" He sighed. "Lets go look" as Hatiru walked a little quicker than before.

Kiri nodded once and followed close behind her brother. They walked up to see the sight of 3 people 2 girls and a boy. "Is everything Alright?" Hatiru asked walking closer to the people. They didnt look infected. Kiri stood silently next to her brother, Clutching her bag.

Minutes later Madilyn woke up to see Tarrin. She was realived and broke our crying. " I got to a rock and then a snack, a big one, like 4 feet long came 2 inches from my head. And then I came running here. It's way to hot and I feel dizzy... Weres Eboneen, is she okay?" She said startled. Wipping her face from the tear she dizzily stood up. " Are you okay? " She asked quietly. Looking up she noticed two people. " Who are you, do you wanna kill me? " She asked confused to them.

Tarrin gently reached out to help Madilyn up, "Eboneen is hiding somewhere safe." He said, smiling at her. Suddenly he glanced back, not noticing the new arrivals until now, "Who're you?" He asked, watching them closely.

"Umm... No. We aren't infected." Hatiru stood smiling "Oh, And Im Hatiru, This is my sister Kiri." He pointed at himself and Kiri. Kiri Nodded politely, Still dead silent. "I Apologize. My sister doesn't talk to people..." Hatiru said making up for his sisters loss of words.

Tarrin nodded slowly, "I will choose to trust you since you don't seem to be infected. It is hard to find trustworthy people these days. My own brother took a shot at me with my own gun a few weeks ago. He ended up dead within a day my my uncle."

" Ohhhh. I get it. " Turning around she adds in " Thank you Tarrin " Unstartled by Kiri's silence smiling she says " It's okay, when I first ran from the town I refused to talk to him, and his girlfriend " pointing to Tarrin " My name is Madilyn. I'm not infected either, don't wanna be either. " looking back at Tarrin to see what his expression was she whispered to him " Where's Eboneen, as in where, what place?"

"Yes, Thank you." Hatiru Nodded. "I'm quite sorry but we've been looking for somewhere to live. We should probably get going." He smiled and bowed slightly.

"There is no need to be formal brother..." Kiri said quietly. To everyone they had met Kiri had always seemed infected, though she wasn't. She was just.... a bit creepy.
