how do I delete just one of multiples instead of all of them?

I'm not 100% sure myself right this moment, as I only had one event to test it on, but I think it's the little orange circles to the right of each message, if you click them they may nuke individual events.

Watch me be completely wrong about it though -_-;

Hmm. I better go try that hard refresh thing then, 'cause I don't have any little orange circles!

Wow, yeah now its a totally different appearance! They had been all at top of screen, now they are in a box on the right hand side of the screen with the little delete circles you were talking about, and that is exactly what those circles are for! Pretty cool, I like them on the side there!
