So my final is tomorrow, well, it's after midnight so it's in nine hours.
I would love it if someone could proofread the following story for me because I am sure I made mistakes. I hope someone out here speaks french.
Marie France s'est levée à 7:15 du matin et elle s'est douchée.
Ensuite, elle s'est habillée.
Après, qu'elle est descendée de l'autobus, elle s'est rencontrée avec ses amis.
Ils sont allés à la librairie ou (u with accent grave --sorry I don't know how to find it or how to spell it) elle a acheté une livre.
Elle a mangé du dîner avec son petit ami.
Ensuite, ils ont vu un bon film.
Plus tard, elle a marché à sa maison à pied.
Il était tard donc elle s'est déshabillée at elle s'est couchée.
My main concern is the word donc--it doesn't feel right and also I don't know about ses, son and sa.
Please help within the next 8 hours hehe. :P
Thank you. :)
isn't the past participle of descendre -> descendu?
i have no idea, it looks like you are way more advance than i am.
and i think "Ã sa maison" would be .. "chez elle" ?
you are right about the descendu! Thanks.
I don't get the second part so if you could elaborate on that that would be great. I didn't study at all the whole semester so I am trying to learn it all in the few hours I have left. :P
what french are you in? :p i'm in french 2.
we learned that "chez" means "at the house of..." so instead of saying "Ã la/ma/sa maison" you can just say "chez moi/elle/pierre/toi" i hope that makes sense, haha.
okay cool. Yes, that does makes sense and I am also excited about knowing what chez means--or at least one of its meanings.
I am also in French 2. I can't wait for it to be over.
Oh look at you! You're listening to french songs. My teacher would just adore you. :)
lol, you can write down the name and artist and tell your teacher you were listening to it and try to impress her ;D
we havent even gotten into s'asseoir or those verbs that you put "s' " in front of, so i dont know about those. but the rest of it looks good to me!
aw i love french :D i hope you do well on your finals!
