Yep, it has been revamped just like some other Kanis colours..

What I think about it: I just prefer the old one.. I loved the somewhat.. Evil Kanis.. :( Now it's more frowning because of a stomachache instead of frowning because he's evil.. The eyes on the old one just have that 'evil thing' around it, while the new one has very nice bloody paws..

I love all the new Kanis redraws, especially the graveyard one.

I am failing to see what is not to like about the BR Kanis, as it is in the same pose, with the same markings, but better drawn and shaded!

In my opinion, the old bloodred didn't look evil; more like confused. xD With how the new ones eyes are directed toward you, it looks spiteful and angry.

i agree with everyone that the new bloodred kanis is very well drawn, and that the body needed a serious redraw, but as my original and most treasured pet i have to say i'm sad to see the original facial expression go...it was, in fact, the artwork for the bloodred kanis that drew me to subeta in the first place... :(

it no longer has the cute but psychotic look about it that the original had and that's what appealed to me...it looks quite thuggish to me now, a look i'm sure will appeal to some people, but it's not the look i once loved nor is it one that i could grow to love...

having said that tho i think has done a wonderful job in general with the kanises...it's just an unfortunate part of life that you can't please everyone all of the time...

The new one looks psychotic, I really like it. I miss the blood on the ear from the old one, but I'm sure everyone will live without it!

I'm not a fan of the BR redraw. I like how the old one had this innocent evilness to it and the new one is almost just a cranky evil. I love kanises in general, and the art is wonderful in general, but the BR redrawn is not one that I will be keeping anymore sadly.

I really like the new one. I'm glad they got rid of the blood smear under the tail, because, well... :x that's not scary that's just unhygienic.

I must say I am surprised! I thought the first thread made would be for the graveyard one. I don't think i'd ever seen another person with the bloodred kanis before today!

I completely understand that people get attached to the old 'character' of a pet, and it is hard to lose something you loved to a redraw.

I felt that the old one was straining to look up, as if it was trying to look into its brain or something! The ears were too long, and weird shapes. The shoulder looked completely dislocated, and the fur looked really shiny before. It also looked a bit pregnant xD And the chest fur wasn't very soft looking!

So good luck in either changing your pets to something else, or growing to love this one nearly as much :) And I am sorry, but it had to be done!

But I've never owned one so I guess I'm not as close to the revamp as people who've had a Kanis. BTW why do Bloodred pets have one green eye? XD

I like the new Kanis color re-draws, the BR one is rather nifty.

I don't see that the old Kanis looked evil in any way, not even a cutely psycho way. It just looked... off.

The revamp is awesome, and looks 100% better, in my opinion :)

The sad thing is that anyone who has a certain pet for a while is going to become attached to that pet, so when they're redrawn, it's sort of like that beloved pet has turned into some strange new pet they don't really know. I'm always a little disappointed when people immediately say they hate the redraw and they won't keep that pet anymore, without giving it time to grow on them. But I think a lot more people will be keeping Bloodred Kanis zaps or using potions to create them now ^_^

I only just realized that the bloodred kanis had also been revamped and... I don't like it either. For me, it is definitely an improvement, but I don't like how the eyes were changed. There's so much personality in the eyes and that's why this is so disappointing to me - the new kanis looks like he's intentionally killed something, but the old one looks as if they're saying "Oh, I'm sorry, did I do that?" It's because of that look that I fell in love with the bloodred kanis... and why I'll be looking to change it to a different bloodred pet with the personality I wanted.
